Lymphatic Drainage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle, rhythmic technique that supports the body’s lymphatic system — the network responsible for moving fluid, reducing swelling, and clearing waste. Using light, precise strokes, MLD helps improve lymph flow, ease discomfort, enhance recovery after injury or surgery, and support overall immune health. It’s deeply calming, safe, and especially beneficial for people experiencing fluid retention, lymphedema, or post-operative swelling.
At BodyCentral, we use manual techniques alongside the Flowpresso Sequential Compression Pump - Flowpresso® is a 40 minute, gentle, full-body fully clothed compression therapy that uses controlled pressure, far-infrared heat, and deep diaphragmatic breathing support to enhance lymphatic flow and relaxation. It helps reduce swelling, improve circulation, ease fatigue, and support recovery by encouraging the body’s natural detoxification processes. It is calming, restorative, and an excellent complement to Manual Lymphatic Drainage.
